With the consent of the provincial Party committee and the provincial government, on the afternoon of November 9, the Provincial Leading Group Office of ecological and environmental protection supervision conducted an open and centralized interview with the party committees and governments of Lingao County and Ding'an County. In the 2020 assessment of the effectiveness of pollution prevention and control, the assessment grades of the above two counties are unqualified.

The assessment results were accurate and fair, effectively found the problems and deficiencies in the pollution prevention and control work of cities and counties, and played the role of "baton" of the assessment.
In this assessment, the main problems in Lingao County are that some air pollution prevention and control tasks are not implemented in place, the upgrading and transformation of two sewage treatment plants are not completed on time, the water quality compliance rate of some rural domestic sewage treatment facilities is not up to standard, the basic capacity of environmental monitoring is insufficient, and the implementation of environmental protection funds needs to be strengthened; The main problems in Ding'an County are that the filing procedures of normative documents in the field of environmental protection are not standardized, some tasks of air pollution prevention and control are not implemented in place, the surface water quality does not reach the target value, the recovery rate of pesticide packaging waste is low, the basic capacity of environmental monitoring is insufficient, and the implementation of environmental protection funds needs to be strengthened.
According to the interview requirements, the two counties should take the assessment results as a warning, deeply learn lessons, draw inferences from one instance, deeply carry out self-examination and self correction, strictly and practically pay close attention to the rectification of feedback problems to ensure that all problems are completely solved. We should further strengthen the research and deployment, overall coordination, supervision and promotion of ecological and environmental protection, fully implement the arrangements and deployment of the CPC Central Committee, the State Council, the provincial Party committee and the provincial government for in-depth fighting against pollution, deeply understand and implement the spirit of the provincial Party committee's ecological and environmental work promotion meeting on August 24.
