A: There is no need to submit the total volume confirmation when applying for the approval of eia documents. According to the "on further reform and optimization of construction project total discharge of major pollutants notice shall be responsible for the assessment of the first chapter" (2) the main pollutant total amount indicators as a precondition of construction project for examination and approval of environment impact assessment. Construction projects that discharge major pollutants shall obtain total emission targets for major pollutants prior to the approval of environmental impact assessment documents (hereinafter referred to as "EIA documents"). Therefore, the total volume confirmation is not required when the eia is submitted, but it is required before the eia is approved.
